This and That
This week was shorter and sweeter, too, as we’ve settled into a new routine. Rhys started his last year of preschool, so I have two children in two different schools at the moment. They are growing up so fast and I’ve finally realized that I am no longer a mom to babies, but to growing boys. I like the structure of the school year and I’m looking forward to some volunteer time at James’ school soon. Here are a few things that caught my eye this week.
A preview of Downton Abbey‘s fifth season.
A funny new web series poking fun at dating in NYC, which also happens to feature ethical and sustainable clothing.
Why this college student carries a mattress everywhere she goes.
A new play about the murders in Juárez, Mexico opens in New York soon.
I watched After Tiller on PBS this week, and it’s a powerful story about doctors risking their lives to help women in this country. It’s streaming on the PBS site for the rest of the month and I encourage you to watch it, too.
How abortion laws are affecting Texas women. Hopefully things will change after the November elections.
We have a restful weekend planned and I wish you a great weekend, too!
Look at that cutie! He’s so solemn 🙂
He was nervous, but he did great. 🙂
