Spring Nudes
I’m not usually a fan of nude shades in lip color and nail polish, but lately, I’m wearing a more subtle version of my normal eye shadow. I’ve been blending the beige and dark purple Tarte shades, top right and bottom right above, to create a darker nude look and I really like it.
A lighter eye, in turn, calls for a muted lip, so I’m finally using my new Revlon Lip Butter in Pink Truffle, and pairing it with my trusty Juicy Tube in Magic Spell by Lancôme. I also touch up my cheeks with a bit of Tarte’s Amused Blush, and I’m on my way.
It’s a great look for every day, and I like that it’s a bit different than my normal style. Do you change up your beauty routine for spring?

Muted eyes can also mean ba-BAM lips! 🙂
Yeah, I can switch it up. I’m enjoying the muted look right now.
I’m rifling through my stuff trying to find heavy-duty moisturizer! The switch to a new season is drying my skin out like crazy.
Oh no, so sorry. Mine has been dry in a few spots recently, too.
I’m that dweeb who has been wearing the same makeup since 10th grade, bahahaha. I think maybe I switched from the lengthening to thickening mascara along the way somewhere. However, I do change up lipstick colors. I started that last year. XD yep, I’m pathetic.
I’ve always wanted to try nudes, though. *___* Nude lipstick or plain shimmery eyeshadow sounds fun.
Hi, Ali! I don’t think it’s pathetic to wear the same makeup all the time, especially if it works for you. 🙂 I usually wear a variation of the same, and I do have fun trying out new lip shades.
