This and That
Ryan was in Paris this week and Mrs. Murphy’s Law struck again. My car wouldn’t start and had to be towed, but thankfully, my parents were here when it happened. Everything is fixed now and Ryan will be home tonight. Needless to say, I’m ready for a weekend. I didn’t get as much reading in this week, but here are a few things that caught my attention.
Goodbye to Tom Magliozzi. I always enjoyed “Car Talk.”
I’m sad about Wendy Davis’ defeat. But really proud of her, too.
Lena Dunham’s apology, which I think is completely unnecessary.
The Berlin Wall then and now. An interesting photo essay.

Have a wonderful weekend!
whoa, this looks like a pretty interesting exhibit!

Yeah; that whole Lena Dunham thing was just weird. On the one hand, maybe she overshared, but on the other hand, the whole discussion was just completely unnecessary. I was always trying to get my friends to take their clothes off when I was 6 (maybe I’m also oversharing).
I think she’s honestly just misunderstood. I have two sisters, and we did all sorts of things, including pretending to deliver each other’s babies. It’s a completely normal part of childhood and I think Dunham should have ignored this smear campaign. It’s ridiculous.
