Spring Sweatshirt
I’ve been slow to try the sweatshirt trend, maybe because it’s usually a little casual for my taste. Plus, the word sweatshirt is kind of gross. But I saw this short sleeved version by Everlane and it intrigued me. I’m hot-natured, and the idea of a short sleeve sweatshirt for Texas’ weird springtime weather is perfect.
I tried it out Sunday for a casual lunch at our favorite pizza place. The weather was brisk and windy, and the temperature dropped throughout the day. I was comfortable in the sweatshirt, and to dress it up a little, I paired it with a sparkly necklace and my new black flats. I felt very relaxed, but also pulled together. The sweatshirt is a bit thick for my taste, like a normal sweatshirt, and I’m wondering if a few more washings might soften it up quite a bit. It’s really comfortable, and I think I’ll get a lot of wear from it, especially with our current weather pattern.
It’s beginning to feel like spring, but mornings are still pretty chilly. Our trees are beginning to bud, though, and spring is definitely in the air.

Cute! And your hair is growing out really nicely. 🙂
Thank you! I actually wrote a hair post for tomorrow after taking these pics. 😛
Such a cute look! Loving the chunky necklace 🙂
