This and That
It felt good to get back to a regular week after the hustle and bustle of Thanksgiving, and we’ve only got one more before things kick into full holiday swing around here. We’re expecting some really cold weather this weekend, and it will be nice to relax and stay snuggled up inside. Here are a few things that caught my attention this week.
First, remembering Nelson Mandela through music and pictures.
Black T-Shirt Campaign, a new movement against modern-day slavery.
A great list of independent artists, designers, and crafters.
“I’ve worked at McDonald’s for 5 years and have 4 kids.”
Porsches and babies are totally different things.
Lots of television shows are influencing baby names. (I sometimes call my tyrannical, blonde three-year-old, “Joffrey.”)
Being a dad is hard. Birthday parties are hard. Three kids is hard. Dying is easy.
And how I really feel about The Sound of Music. So sorry.
Have a wonderful weekend!
That was a really good article about the McDonald’s workers. I hope they get the results they want.
I know. Me, too.
