Fall Inspiration Board
The space above my desk was in need of a seasonal update, so Saturday morning I took down the old pictures and put up my stack of new ideas. When I look at magazines and catalogs, I usually mark the photos I love and save them. Then, when I get around to it, I’ll hang them above my computer for inspiration. It’s nice having something pretty to look at while I work, and if I get stuck on an idea while writing, I can let my eyes wonder while my brain refocuses. Most of these images came from the September Vogue and the many winter catalogs that are filling my mailbox these days. I love getting catalogs in the mail, don’t you?
I think fall is a great time to tackle new projects and find inspiring ideas. I’m taking another blogging class this month, and I’m hoping to learn a bit about photography and photo styling. It should be fun and challenging, and I always love meeting new bloggers and making new friends. I also signed up for a blogger pen pal program that sounds like so much fun.
So here’s to a month of new beginnings! Do you have any fun plans this fall?
This is a cool idea! I like the idea of being able to look at inspiring images when you get stuck. Might have to steal this.
Definitely steal it! 🙂
I hope the blogging course is fun! And that penpal program sounds really cool. Getting ‘real’ mail feels special!
Thank you! I thought it might be fun to try something different.
