Market Colors
I recently discovered Market Colors, a nonprofit working to end poverty in Africa through education and employment. Like many organizations, Market Colors teaches sustainable skills to local residents, equipping them with ways to support their families. Because the trade market is very limited throughout Africa, Market Colors sells many of these products in the United States, taking the proceeds and donations directly back to the artisans themselves. The company is staffed by volunteers and runs on donations, and their store features a lovely assortment of handmade goods that are truly on trend with today’s fashion.
I’ve chosen five pieces to share with you, and I’m incredibly impressed with the beauty and construction of each product.
The Navy and Gold Circuit Clutch caught my eye right away and is my favorite clutch in Market Colors’ large collection. Its simple design and color are perfect for everyday use, and it is truly a unique piece.
Market Colors’ Woven Diamond Scarf is lovely and versatile, too, and adds a bright touch of color to any outfit.
The delicate Colorblock Dangle Bracelet is a stunning statement accessory perfect for layering with other bracelets, too.
I don’t own an iPhone, so I get jealous of the fabulous covers for it, and this one is no exception! The case comes in two colors, both inspired by the fabrics of the clutch collection.
This Periwinkle Chevron Clutch is absolutely adorable, and so perfect for summer!
I encourage you to visit Market Colors’ site to learn more about their mission and to browse their wonderful shop, too.
