This and That
This week was filled with lots of errands and the boys had their spring music program, too. It’s already beginning to feel like summer here, despite a brief cold front, and the heat will be here before we know it! Here are a few things that caught my attention this week.
Austin’s oldest bra fitter is still hard at work, and loving her job.
The story above might not be available to me much longer, thanks to some big changes at my local paper. (Stay tuned, because I might need to write an entire post about this soon!)
And along the same lines, how much would you pay for ethically-made clothing?
Transformers are coming to my town! Sort of. But probably not Mark Wahlberg.
Fleetwood Mac is back!
Have a wonderful weekend!
My mom is going to freak about Fleetwood Mac! We grew up knowing every song!
I love them, but I LOVE Stevie Nicks!
those are the cutest bikers i’ve seen in a long time! Catherine – i read your comment on the Statesman’s blog regarding their transition to a paid subscription platform. i mean, i understand generating revenue, but when you’re the largest (and practically sole) newspaper in town – does that really say you care about your readers?!
enjoy your weekend as well!
Donna, I totally agree! It just seems wrong to pay for news, because when you’re paying for it, does that mean they write only what you want to hear?
I loved the article about the bra fitter. I should visit her soon 😉 Your blog looks excellent. Great work!!
Thanks so much, Melek! And that was such a sweet article.
