Ring of Roses
(My new rose gold ring by Marie Carter Designs.)
My current favorite watch is rose gold, a color I never wore in the past. I know it’s really trendy right now, but I’m loving the look. Since I’m left-handed, I wear my watch on my right hand, and I love to wear different rings on that hand, too. I’ve been on the hunt for a fun, rose gold ring for a while now, and I finally fell in love with this piece, by Marie Carter Designs.
My ring arrived minutes before we left for Kerrville last Friday, so I spent the entire car trip admiring its beauty and design. The ring appears to be made from one single wire, which is wrapped continuously to make the lovely spiral pattern. And I especially like the middle loops that resemble a heart. I’m thrilled with the design, which is both classic and modern, and I know I’ll get a lot of wear from it.

What a beautiful ring! My birthday gift was a very simple but timeless rose gold watch and I love the tone. Rose gold is trendy right now, but I always think of it as classic after a college friend of mine received a rose gold vintage wedding set from her fiancée. It is still one of the prettiest sets I’ve seen.
Oh, that wedding set sounds lovely. I guess I was never a fan of rose gold until recently, because it always reminded me of the Black Hills gold that was popular when I was in high school, and I wasn’t a fan of that style.
I love rose gold! I really wanted a rose gold wedding ring but got talked out of it because my engagement ring is white gold. 🙂
I love the look of mixed metals, so I think that would still look so pretty. Maybe you can find a rose gold anniversary band. 🙂
