This and That
I spent the week relaxing and preparing for Thanksgiving, which was a wonderful day spent with family and friends. Here are a few things that caught my eye this week:
An interesting take on the idea of Thanksgiving and tradition.
And I’m so thankful I wasn’t invited to this dinner!
Change is coming. Slowly, but it’s coming.
“Chicho and Pocho,” the heartwarming story of a man and his crocodile. I promise this will make you smile, and maybe cry.
If you’re up for a little holiday shopping, Sephora is having a great sale with $10 Black Friday Doorbusters. It’s a great way to stock up for gifts, and don’t forget to check out their weekly specials!
Have a wonderful weekend!
Is that Thanksgiving letter REAL? That was so terrible it wasn’t even funny. What a miserable woman!
Ha ha, I think it was the mom! I wonder if someone just wrote down all the stuff she told them over the years?
I almost died laughing at that invitation! How crazy do you have to be to feel okay writing that out?! I love when you share these little tidbits 🙂 It’s gooooooood to be back…thankful to be reading your blog again.

Yay! Welcome back, Cambria!
Wow. I can’t believe that guy became “friends” with a crocodile. It reminded me of when we went to a baboon sanctuary in Belize. This guy had created some walking ladders from the forest to his house and began growing fruit trees to tempt the monkeys. It took him 5 years, but the baby monkeys finally began walking to his home and now they interact with him on a daily basis. I wish I had monkeys in my backyard!
That would be cool! Before we bought our house, we lived in an apartment that backed up to a field with lots of trees, and we saw raccoons, foxes, and possums all the time. They would come out at night looking for food.
